Pet-Owner Rescue Foundation of Chicago
The Pet-Owner Rescue Foundation of Chicago is proud to announce the release of its first ever benefit album: Benefit For Bowie. The proceeds of this cd go to help fund the continuing cost of Bowie's recovery, cover medical expenses incurred since the diagnosis of his illness, and pay for death services in the event Bowie dies from his disease. Please help Bowie stay alive.
If saving a poor defenseless cat from the ravages of disease is not enough to melt your cold cold heart (or at least loosen your pocketbook), then reflect on the fact that you are acquiring 15 songs from 11 deep underground Chicago area acts. These are great tracks, ranging from soulful gospel to progressive metal to distorted drum & bass. This is a cross-section of one corner of the thriving Chicago music scene, and as such offers a glimpse of the future of rock, dance, and noise in Chicago.
The Pet-Owner Rescue Foundation of Chicago is dedicated to helping keep owners and their pets together, whatever the obstacles. We try to help defray the costs of illness, help ease the stress of changing habitation, and aid in other challenges to owning pets in the city.
